ASEAN Civil Society Conference/ASEAN Peoples' Forum 2018
Empowering Peoples’ Solidarity Against All Forms of Discrimination
Engagement Modalities and Guiding Principles
ACSC/APF aims to provide a safe platform for the exchange of perspectives and to give visible voice. Given the potential sensitivities of discussions during the conference, we strive to keep our collaborative convergence spaces as free-flowing and unhindered as possible and we seek your cooperation to ensure that respectfulness, comfort and consideration are exercised as fully as you desire that others allow you likewise.
As co-creators of content in our various discussion spaces, a safe environment free from prejudice, harassment, bullying, intimidation or oppressive tactics in any form is essential in engendering trust, compassion, empathy and solidarity. We request that all exchanges, dialogue and discussions be kept civil, respectful and accommodating of different viewpoints and beliefs.
While there may be official event photography, we wish to urge participants to let the Local Organising Committee know if you do not wish to be photographed. Please note that we have a strict policy against unauthorised audio-visual acts that could potentially put our delegates at risk.
